Impossible questions
Ok, can somebody please give me an answer to these questions? I’m going insane here! I just watched this interview with a guy about the findings of some new planets. And it got me thinking about these stupid questions I’ve thought about so many times before.
How can the universe be infinite? Like, is has to end somewhere, right?
How the hell is it possible to make telescopes that can look so far out into the universe?
Why is there even a universe? What’s the point?
Can you just not exist? I’m thinking of death.
How is it possible that the world spins around right now and I’m not dizzy or throwing up?
And really, I could just keep on going. My head simply cannot handle these kinds of things. And yes, I’m aware of the fact that you probably can’t give me any answers. I just had to get this out of my head. Hopefully it is when I click the ‘Publish’ button in 5 seconds or so.
By the way, I’m sorry if I made you go insane too.
Philosophizing is a very healthy thing to do and I do it often too :).
Anyway, the two first questions – I believe – can be answered theoretically (and a bit scientifically). I’ll give it a try.

The big bang theory is about everything expanding from one little tiny place. According to the theory this is still taking place as I am writing this. Everything (planets and stars mostly) is moving further and further apart as the universe expands. Therefore the universe is getting bigger and bigger (it’s not eternal).
How the hell is it possible to make telescopes that can look so far out into the universe?
So light is photons and these photons moves at the speed of light (obviously, right? :P). If the source gives out enough photons / energy we might be able to see it even from earth – a great distance.

Det er ikke fordi jeg ikke har råd til det, for havde de 2000kr ekstra denne månede, men de burde måske nok have været gemt til Irland-turen, men jeg har i mange år nu ønsket mig en maine coon, og har længe ledt efter den rigtige, og så fandt jeg ham.. Vi skal kun af med Trille hvis det viser sig at kattebakken ikke kan stå i spisekøkkenet længere efter at to nu bruger den.. men jeg kæmper ihærdigt for at Trille ikke skal væk.. hun elsker at leve ude i skoven, og det ville være for hårdt for mig hvis jeg skulle tage den beslutning igen..
So amazing questions, I really love them, in a way, is like some of life’s many question, but I dont have an answers to any of them? ..
